Installation of Officers and Permanent Chart Received


SALEM, OREGON 9/21/2019 /Kiewire/ — Laura Britton of Lebanon was installed as Worthy Advisor of Mystic Valley #98 of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, during the assembly’s installation of officers September 21, 2019, in Salem, Oregon. Also installed were Worthy Associate Advisor, Brooklyn Dolin, Jesseca Wolter, Aleighla Friend, and Madalin Hugley. Additional officers to be installed at a later date.

After the Installation of Officers, Mrs. Krystle Clason, Mystic Valley #98 Mother Advisor received Mystic Valley’s Permanent Charter by Mrs. Janet Lovelin, Grand Deputy At Large and Mrs. Cosette Rees, Grand Deputy of the Southern District on behalf of Mrs. Teri Rollman, Supreme Deputy all in Oregon of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. Mystic Valley #98 was constituted as an Assembly on March 12, 2019 in Lebanon, Oregon. After 6 months on a letters temporary probationary period, the permanent charter was granted.

Mrs. Krystle Clason said, “The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls had a huge impact on my life and I am honored that I get to share it with so many young ladies and their families. I have truly been blessed to have the opportunity to be a positive person in their lives, and to have the opportunity to know these amazing young ladies.”

The International a order of the Rainbow for Girls is the only youth club that teaches what matters most – leadership, confidence, and citizenship. Every day, across the globe, hundreds of thousands of girls come together to laugh, share, and grow through fun events and challenging workshops designed to empower girls of all ages. Rainbow Girls volunteer for their community and travel around the world, visiting other clubs and making lots of new friends. Along the way, they gather invaluable life skills that help them become the best daughter, sister, student, and friend they can be.

About The International Order of Rainbow for Girls
The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls was founded by Rev. William Mark Sexson in McAlester, Oklahoma in April of 1922. He sought to develop an organization where young women could build self-confidence and leadership skills, while serving their community. The organization promotes community service, as well as love and service to their schools, homes and to each other.

Since November of 1951, world headquarters for the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls has been located in McAlester, Oklahoma. This magnificent building was constructed for Rainbow Girls and funded by Rainbow Girls. It represents what can be accomplished when girls are empowered with knowledge, enlightened by travel, and energized by their own inner spirit.
Rainbow is an active organization throughout the United States and in Aruba, Queensland and New South Wales in Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Italy, Paraguay, Romania, and the Philippines.

Mystic Valley #98 provides service through a variety of programs and service projects such as The Lebanon School District Welcome Center, Autism Society of Oregon, Seven Oak PTC Color Run, Lebanon National Night Out, and more. The Assembly raises money for projects and continuation of activities by 50/50 raffles, dinners, vendor booths, and will be hosting a public Winter Masquerade Gala and Silent Auction in December.
